Who we hire
Gittings Protective Security has three departments, and each one hires:
- Security officers. Armed and unarmed officers for plants, jobsites, stores, hospitals, schools, and neighborhoods, in uniform or plain clothes. Many of our officers come from the military, police, corrections, or first response. More on security guard jobs.
- Electronic security technicians. Install Alarm.com alarms, cameras, fire alarms, and access control for homes and businesses in Pennsylvania, and show customers how to use the app.
- Investigators. Surveillance and activity checks on claims, background checks, witness locates, and attorney investigations in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and West Virginia.
How to apply
Officers are screened and trained before they take a post, and they are dressed for the site they work. If you also hold a license, a certification, or experience from the military, police, corrections, or first response, tell us in the message box. It helps us match you to the right department and the right site, whether you want steady posts, field work, or install work.
